Hi,

I'm trying out LRtimelapse after having tried some very basic timelapse shots, and am have had a problem getting the exiftool to work with LRtimelapse. The main problem is the need to change the file name, which sends my PC's virus scanner (Norton Internet Security) into a bit of a fit, because it sees a file with an unknown (to it) name that is making changes to files.

By changing the file name to a different file name than that seen by other Norton users, Norton seems very suspicious of the file, and constantly deleted the file 'for my own safety'. I've now worked out how to mark the new file as trusted, but suspect it may have been easier if I hadn't needed to change the file name in the first place.

Would it be possible to change LRtimelapse so that it can cope with the native file name, or does the author change the file name with every upgrade that he publishes?

Rgds
