Just in case...
Is it possible for you to add color management in LRT ? 
Colors in  Preview appears very different as in lightroom, I think it's because of no color profils (sRGB or adobe RGB) are applied.

It wouldn't be impossible, but a huge performance killer. That's why I didn't implement it. I think Lightroom is the tool to control the color in, LRTimelapse has other purposes. So it's streamlined for performance. The curves tell you much more then the small preview image :-)
