Firmware 31 brings a day-of-week selector to the periodic timelapse mode.

  • Feature: Periodic TL will now allow to select the days of the week to be shooting at.
  • Feature: Day of Week and time span settings will no be persistantly stored in the config when doing "Write Settings".
  • Fix: Periodic TL: When going back to the timespan selector, the number would sometimes flash briefly
  • Fix: Periodic TL: Time display for end time in confirm menu will now be correctly displayed if the end time is on the next day.

Please find all information on how to upgrade your device and the download on: https://lrtimelapse.com/lrtpt/firmware-updates/

If you don't use the periodic timelapse feature, then there is no need to update.

Hi, I was just wondering if you could give me some advice on how to update the firmware on the LRT Pro Timer 3.0 on the new M3 MacBook Pro that only has USB-C and no USB-A ports. I have tried every USB-A to Micro USB cable I have here but I need an adapter to USB-C and the laptop doesn't recognise the timer. It charges fine but won't mount it as a drive. I've used the USB-A to Micro USB cable on my old laptop with USB-A ports but I sold it when I got the new MacBook.

**** Edit ****

Apologies, I got it sorted. I didn't know you had to press the little button to put it into update mode. All good now.

Hi there....anyone got any tips on troubleshooting my PT3 in order to update firmware. I cannot get it to mount on any of my windows 10 pc's or laptop. I have tried every usb port, tried multiple data cables and followed the guides to a tee. Sometimes I get the windows notication ping and sometimes I get a warning saying windows does not recognize the device. When I got into device manager it just says "ünknown USB device(invalid configuration descriptor)". Any help would be appreciated.

Check out the faq, there is a troubleshooting guide for the firmware update: https://lrtimelapse.com/lrtpt/faq/
If you did that and still can't get it going, there might be a defect. The we could open up a support case and you'd need to ship the LRT PT to us for checking and possible repair.
Of course, that involves shipping the device and waiting until you get it back, that's why I recommend that you read the releasenotes for the firmware and check, if you really need the changes introduced with the later versions: https://forum.lrtimelapse.com/Forum-lrt-...re-updates

If you want to open up a service ticket to ship the timer, please contact me via support(at)lrtimelapse.com
