Flicker, but can't understand why

Hi all,

My 1st post here, glad to join the community Smile

I just bought LRTimelapse and I am having a big issue with flicker. All photos were taken with the same exposure and fixed aperture, so I really can't understand why this is happening.

These are 2 sequential frames and they have so much difference in exposure without explanation...

Before we go any deeper: Exposure +4 (!), Highlights -50.
This means, you massively underexposed. the result s a still too dark image.
You are not using the dynamic range of your sensor at all. Apart from that "highlights" is a non linear tool in Lightroom which is known to introduce contrast flicker, especially in such situations, where you are pushing wrong exposed material to the edges.
See this faq: https://lrtimelapse.com/news/use-the-new...me-lapses/

The first step to a good photo or timelapse is correct exposure. If you have that, you can continue fine tuning things in editing.

Hi gwegner, thank you for your reply.

Exposure is correct as it is for the cars headlights. I have used the photos to blend in photoshop for a photo, but I wanted to use the same photos for a timelapse.
