Undesired cometing or star trails when editing with clouds

My question is as follows-
When I am editing my Astro timelapses that have clouds present, I get unwanted cometing or small star trails. I don’t know how to fix that. Any ideas? Thank you for your time!

You'll get that if you render with a lot of motion blur. Try to reduce the motion blur settings or turn if off completely, then you'll avoid that effect, but of course, you'll also have less smooth and more noisy clips.
For me, for star lapses I try to find a balance with a low LRT Motion Blur setting which isn't too apparent but still smoothes a bit and reduces the noise in the video by blending adjacent images.

No need to reedit. Just go to file / render video in LRTimelapse, then select the once exported intermediary sequence, choose different settings and render again.

Do you have star trails in the source images? I.E. when you shoot with a shutter too long for the focal length which causes them in single shots? Or just when using the motion blur function?
