GoPro RAW .GPR files - problematic

Offline

I'm tackling my first few time-lapse sequences which were shot with the GoPro Hero 5 as raw .GPR images. LRTimelapse doesn't seem to be playing nicely with this format.

In my usual workflow, I use Bridge to do my Adobe Camera Raw editing. When I adjust my keyframes and head back into LRTimelapse, LRT doesn't seem to recognize the changes made or any development metadata, and can't create the transitions.

Does anyone have experience with this? I assume converting to .DNG could work, but I'd perfer to avoid that step as I have 30+ sequences to edit and not a lot of time/disk space. Thinking out loud, maybe developing in Lightroom could work better, as I can force the metadata to save to the file? Any help would be appreciated.
