Holy Grail workflow flicker

Offline
#1 dcal
I just re-watched the HG Tutorial to see what I'm doing wrong. I didn't see anything.  I'm getting flicker at my exposure adjustments that were made in camera. Can you help me understand what the HG keyframes are for? In your tutorial, you didn't mention editing those keyframes, only the blue KFs. Is that something LRT uses to calculate adjustments?
Thank you.

The compensation for the exposure adjustments will happen when you activate the "Holy Grail Wizard". This will create the Orange curve that tries to compensate for the adjustments. However this is based on the Exif-Data from the camera and sometimes not too accurate. Thats why sometimes you still get flicker at those points, when you watch the visual previews. But that is normal and doesn't matter because it will be eliminated by the visual deflicker, that is responsible for the finer smoothing of the sequence. You can even apply the visual deflicker multiple times without loss in quality if one pass is not enough.
