Hi gang, I'm a new user as of today so be gentle. I'm using a Panasonic GH5 and dragging my raw files onto my hard drive. I know I could use the importer to do this, but my SD to Thunderbolt adapter is flakey and sometimes drops, so I would rather copy the folders manually and make sure all files are accounted for. 

The GH5 will only write 999 files to a folder then needs to write another folder as otherwise there would be 2 folders with the same name files. When I am LRTimelapse I can only select one folder at a time to make a timelapse sequence when I need that assets of several folders for a timelapse that runs for severals days. Do I have to rename the files, so they can all reside in one folder or is there a workaround?

Oh I figured it out. I am able to make unique file names that run up to a very high number so they can populate the same folder, then be imported. Thanks anyway and hello all.
