I did my first hyperlapse but warp stablizer couldnt get it smooth. I tried tracking as well but that didnt help much too.

Are my movement intervals too short?
Or there are other ways to post process this to make it smoother?

There is no guarantee that you will be able to stabilize that sequences perfectly and there is no general advice apart from shoot the most stable you can - that I can give. Just try with the different settings of the stabilizers or go out and try again taking more care when adjusting the position of the camera. Shooting Hyper Lapse is really technical. I just realised it would be better to crop the photos with LRtimelapse in Lightroom before importing it into AE. Do we have to crop manually or is there a way to set a rough area for automation?

I don't exactly understand what you are trying to do but you can crop with LRTimelapse/Lightroom, just set the crop in lightroom to the first keyframe and as you edit the keyframes copy/paste the crop. Then all keyframes should have the same crop and LRTimelapse will take care of the rest.

Hi Gwegner, I m thinking how to reduce the jumpy hyperlapse i did previously. I was thinking it would help to do frame by frame cropping in lightroom before i import the jpeg sequence into after effects. I know LRlightroom can help deflickering and has a lot more capabilities (still trying to learn the details).

I wouldn't crop before going to stabilize in After Effects. Just let AE do it's job. Normally you need a lot of "room" for stabilizing, so cropping in advance would not be the best.

in this case,if warp stabilizer won't give you good result..then you should do align motion track each frame manually.. trust me,i have a footage just like your, and only motion track can save the day
