Has anyone used this slider and if so how well does it work for shooting time lapses? I am looking for an inexpensive slider option.

It working very well. The system dont need belt like other system so it's faster to set up. Also more portable. Only some drawback i saw is it take 1.5kg maximum load and dont have slave mode.

It costs about the same, but offers you more possibilities. It also has a slave mode, so you can trigger it with an external interval trigger like the LRT Pro Timer.
