images not in order - please help!

Hello

This is my first message here. I will appreciate all your help.

The LRTimelapse 5 can't show my photos in the right order.

I made some search and I have read a few threads about identical problems but none of the solutions worked for me. The strange thing is that a few weeks ago, when the same happened, I found the solution somewhere (I do not know if it was here, sorry) and I remember that it had to do with changing the filename at the time of DNG export of the lightroom. Meanwhile I forgot it.

I'm tired of trying sequence numbers (Ex: 0001) but in Lightroom it then jumps automaticaly to 10, etc etc, and then returns to 2 and jumps to 20....

The photos dont have megadata because they are frames from a video (long story..) but in lightroom they are in the right order....

Any ideas how can I put this in the right order in lightroom? What should be the correct way to rename in lightroom?

thanks a lot to everyone.

cheers!

If the images have no Exif Data, LRTimelape will sort alphabetically. You can use Lightroom to rename, just make sure that you use a numbering with leading zeros, like:
image00001.jpg
image00002.jpg etc.
image00010.jpg

and NOT:
image1.jpg
image2.jpg
image10.jpg

thanks for your reply.

I tried that and didn't work, it gives me always the filename with a -1 an -2 after. I can't find solution in the lightroom window, I mean here: https://ibb.co/nbgsOT

or here https://ibb.co/joCJV8

It drives me mad...

You can define your own renaming template in Lightroom, see screenshot.
