The LRT file browser allows you to easily select/import images based on folders. Is it possible to select only certain images in a folder to be worked in inside LRT? Maybe there are 500 images in a folder but only 300 relate to a certain timelapse. Can just those 300 be selected and worked on in the LRT workflow?

No, currently that's not possible. What I do is import the whole folder, and then split it in LRT and move the single photos to another folder. See also my importing tutorial!
