I am the Systems Admin for an educational institute and have been requested to install LRTimelapse onto machines for students to use.
The students all have their own logins to the Macs, however the way the LRT plugin installs is only into the logged in user's Library, which then prevents the filter options from being available to other users on that machine.
Is there any way to make the features available to any user who is able to login to the Mac? The students do not have admin rights so are unable to install it for themselves. so we need to manage applications centrally.
The class tutor is wanting to use LTR as part of his teaching and as such we would look at purchasing 10+ licenses for the number of Macs he will teach it on, however if I am unable to manage it centrally we will need to look for alternative software.
