Comnination of Sony, LRT Pro Timer and qDSLRdashboard

My question is addressed to Gunter and other Sony users. And my question is on behalf of my friend who is a Sony user. Luckily, I am a Nikon user.

After updating the recent firmware on Sony a9, the qDSLRdashbosrd/ControlMyCamera stopped working. Although it connects to qDSLR but only black screen appears and no other function works. I have been in conversation with Zoltan of qDSLR and according to him Sony changed somethings in the latest firmware and due to this he cannot get it working with Sony a9. I just happened to see this same issue with other Sony a7riv users. So that means from now on new Sony cameras will cease to work with qDSLR. This is very unfortunate because qDSLR is an very import part of timelapse (holygrail) shooting in combination with LRT Pro Timer.
Before buying the LRT PT, I and my friend were suppose to buy the Timelapse View+ which is an fantastic product, However the plus 6 seconds minimum interval was not except-able to us. Therefore we bought LRT PT and the qDSLR which sufficed our requirement.
Now since qDSLR does not work with Sony, will the LRT Pro Timer work with Timelapse View+ thus substituting the qDSLR? Basically Timelapse View doing all that qDSLR did. I don't want my friend to buy it and latter regret. I guess Timelapse View+ can be connected to Sony witlessly.

Unfortunately Sony stopped updating their 'Remote API' in 2017 (https://developer.sony.com/develop/cameras/) It is archived now so it will not get any more updated.
In recent firmwares for the a9 Sony changed the way the camera is discovered. I did try with help of Henry to figure it out but couldn't.
A new 'Remote API' release from Sony would help for sure.
My budget is short for the a9 so someone with the a9 and some technical background could eventually help.
It would need a rooted Android phone/tablet with a wireless packet capture running (one of these: https://techwiser.com/wireshark-alternat...r-android/). It should capture the wireless communication between the Sony Imaging Edge (former Playmemories - https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...ies.mobile ) and the a9. Using this I could probably figure out the new way Sony does the camera service discovery.
