Issues with LRtimelapase !!!

Dear Gunther,

Excellent work on the software. This software is a life saver for many !!!
thank you for the time dedicated to improve it.

I have some issues with the sequence.
i will explain the scenario :

1. Its a sunset scene with some construction in the foreground.
camera : 1dx and lense 16-35 f2.8 II
2. i started the timelapse sequence with f9 at shutter speed 1/200 while maintaining ISO at 100.
3. i had changed aperture from f9 to f6.3 in between till it reached f2.8, maintaining
1/200 and iso at 100.
4.when it got really dark, i had to change from 1/200 to 1/125 all the way upto .8 seconds.

i tried using LRtimelapse 3.4 to fix it.
i tried whatever was mentioned in the tutorials, but still i dont get a proper transition like what was explained in tutorials. i tried tweaking it many times to get a better transition.

Can some expert please guide me.

thank you in advance.

The blue curve (luminosity of the original sequence) looks really weird, it has some severe peaks in it, I have no clue what you did there but I fear it will be quite impossible to get a perfect result if a sequence has been messed up when shooting like this.
I'd suggest you check that "peaks" and try to figure out, what happened there.

Dear Gunther,

i have no clue. I am currently back on this project.

Was my workflow wrong ? i kept on changing parameters like iso, shutter, etc
but still i feel that the software would be able to handle it. please correct me if i am wrong.

Normally yes, but it seems like you might have corrected the parameters in the wrong direction a couple of times and then corrected it back?

Did you try the holy grail workflow?

Okay, please do the following:
Load the sequence, then hit Shift-F5 once, to refresh the previews, just to make sure, that they are correct.

Now go to settings -> expert Settings, check the "Threshold" value: set it to 0.0.

Choose the Holy Grail Workflow. Initialize, Kreate Keyframes, Holy Grail Wizard, Save.
Make a screenshot of the Preview and post it here.

Now go to Lightroom, Grid View (G), make sure that no filters are selected (all images visible) Select the whole Sequence (Ctrl. A), Read Metadata from files. Now export via LRTExport and render in LRTimelapse. Check out the result.

You could put the screenshot in a Dropbox "Public Folder" for example, then right click, Copy Publick link and paste it into the "Insert Image" box here.

The yellow exposure curve is very high, you should take care that you move it to the center.
Please download the new LRT4 and try with that.
