Been using LRtimelapse 3 since it came out. Tonight lightroom stopped reading my xmp files. I am using a mac 10.9.1 and CR2 files. I normally import from a cf card directly in lrtimelapse or I manually import to a folder on my desktop. I then open lrtimelapse and initialize - use keyframes wizard - then save XMP. I then go to lightroom and import (add to library not copy) grid mode in library, select all and read metadata. Normally my keyframes appear when I go to filter LRT all keyframes. Tonight the keyframes are not appearing. I checked the XMP files in text edit and do indeed see that a rating has been applied to the XMP file:<xmp:Rating>1</xmp:Rating>
It appears as though lightroom is not reading the xmp file. What is going on? Tried everything I can think of. I deleted lrtimelapse and re-installed. I am not applying any filters or using any presets upon adding to my library. I have never had this happen.
Thanks for any help/advice.
Jake

Just figured out that I could force the keyframes to appear in lightroom by ctrl clicking on the frames in lrtimelapse and selecting the keyframe via the drop down. If I just select the frame by clicking the blue square they do not show up in Lightroom or if auto keyframe wizard is used.

Your second post disturbs me... Wink Especially since you wrote on the first one, that the XMP files already had the Rating=1 tag...
So the problem seems to be on the lightroom side.
The only reason I could think of is a wrong capture date on the files that lies in the future - this is a known bug in Lightroom. In that case it won't read xmp files.

Date was not set in the future. Thank you.

It happened again. I can't get the keyframes to show up in lightroom. I have used LRT quite few times successfully since my last post. All of a sudden I go to import a new sequence to lightroom and no keyframes. I tried quitting, re-importing, re-initializing, using different work flows. I tried manually selecting keyframes. No keyframe would show up with Lightroom. What is going on? I think it is a problem with lightroom but I have no idea how to remedy it. Thanks a lot for any advice.

Those are all approaches that I know of for dealing with this issue:
