Most likely you have the older version of LRTimelapse still on your system, in any other folder that the official "/Applications". Could you please use spotlight to search for it and trash all versions of LRTimelapse you might have installed. After that empty the trash.
Now download the latest version from https://lrtimelapse.com/download/ and run the installer. This should get you going.
