LRT doesn't start on Win10

I don't think is a matter of antivirus... because if I try to lunch the software as administrator, it works fine. Also I checked Windows Defender logs and nothing is revealed. Any other suggestion?

Did you try deactivating Defender and start? Did you try putting ExifTool to the ignore list in Defender?
This would definitely help to narrow down the issue. (I'm recommending this, because I've never had a report like yours that had another reason than this).

You could try downloading the latest ExifTool version from http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/ and manually putting the exiftool(-k).exe into c:\program files\LRTimelapse 4
Make sure that exiftool is not running via taskmanager, kill it if it is.
Then delete the old exiftool.exe and rename exiftool(-k).exe to exiftool.exe
Now try again.
If it fails, open a command line and type

Code:
c:\program files\LRTimelapse 4\exiftool.exe -ver

If this fails you know that is has nothing to do with LRTimelapse.
Maybe you could find something in the exiftool forum about this.
