Does anyone have experience using LRT Pro Timer with the iFootage Shark Nano for holy grail timelapse work?
It seems like if I want to use the slider’s timelapse functionality, that would override my preferred approach of using the LRT Pro Timer along with qDSLR Dashboard for HG ramping.
Ideally, I'd like to -step- the Nano between exposures of my D810….otherwise I'll be getting camera motion blur at longer shutter speeds... but that would require the LRT Pro timer to talk to the Nano… which i don’t think is possible.
For ordinary day-time timelapse work, with reasonably fast shutter speeds, and a wide angle lens, I can live with an extremely small amount of camera/platform motion if I'm panning with the Nano at, say, 15 degrees over an hour.
Its holy grail shots, and multiple-second exposures, for which I can't have the camera moving during each exposure.
Has anyone experimented successfully with this particular gear combination for HG work?

If the slider's controller doesn't offer a slave mode it will be difficult to synchronize it with an external intervalometer.

got it gunther, i appreciate the reply. and now that i just bought and am reading your e-book, i realized, belatedly, the obvious fact that “fast” shutter speeds do —not— make good timelapse. as a photographer with several decades of professional -still- shooting experience, but just starting to come up to speed on timelapse, i can HIGHLY recommend your e-book to others on these forums. the book is really superior…chock full of extremely useful info/guidance/tools, etc. anyone who wants to seriously master timelapse should buy/read it. the book is super valuable

of course! the eBook is a truly must-read for anyone serious about mastering quality timelapse ...and answers a ton of questions...some of mine included... that i see cropping up repeatedly in the various LRT forums.
