LRTimelapse now brings its own java, it will still run on java, but you don't have to install it on your own anymore. In fact you can uninstall it via control panel if you want.

Gunther absolutely rocks! He's single-handedly created one of the most useful pieces of filmmaking software in modern times and his personal support of it blows away anything being offered by larger software developers with more resources. I told him about some shortcomings working with cinema .dng files from the DJI X5R and he dove right into it. Now, with this new release, everything works better. He's saved me a bunch of time once again and LRT is now the best program I know of for working with large raw image sequences, be they timelapses or video files. Thanks Gunther!

You should uninstall any older LRTimelapse before installing 4.7.5.

Hi Gunther,

It's been a while since I've updated LRTimelapse and I'm confused by the instructions for Mac which says to update to 4.7.4 and then to 4.7.5 and then to trash older versions.

So my steps so far are:
Download and install 4.7.4
Download the Adobe DNG Converter
and now do I trash 4.7.4?
and download and install 4.7.5

and if so...what was the point of downloading and installing 4.7.4

Could you please clarify. I did a search on the forum but it didn't pull up a helpful thread for me.

Thank you,
Anna

Hi Anna, this "java instructions" were for windows only.
You definitely don't need to install any former version.
On Mac: just trash the old LRTimelapse app then download and install the latest one. That's it.
