LRTimelapse 5.2 does not launch

Offline
#1 moci
Hi,
I wanted to check LRTimelapse5.2 which I install. I never use LRTimelapse before. When I lunch app it starts but never lunches.
I follow installation instructions:
https://lrtimelapse.com/install/
I check FAQ looking for answer and found this:
https://lrtimelapse.com/news/exiftool-wi...-defender/
This looks something very similar to my issue. However when I try workaround suggested in link above and add exception it didn't change outcome.
I still have same issue. LRTimelapse won't start.
Any suggestions?

I am using Windows10 x64
Adobe Lightroom Classic

Here is the issue that is reported:

Seems to be a similar problem as in the other thread where you might having an outdated jna library registered in your system.
Try deleting the folder C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp\jna-197004178\
Maybe that helps.

One more thing maybe to mentioned. The "\User" folder from above seems to have special character for my language:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: C:\Users\xxxxx xx?xxxx\AppData\Local\Temp\jna-197004178\jna7167802553234196275.dll: Can't find dependent libraries
Can this somehow be related?
I actually have 2 "User" folders:
C:\Users\xxxxx xxcxxxx\..
and
C:\Users\xxxxx xx?xxxx\..
I don't know is that normal and how did it happend, but looks strange to me and I want it to mention.

Yes, if the path to the user folder has special chars, then this might happen.
I'd recommend to change the path of the temp folder in windows to C:\temp - it doesn't need to be in your user directory.
Just Google on how to change the location of the temp folder in windows.

I'll try to do that after work.

Seems like this is something similar what happen on my windows:
https://www.tenforums.com/user-accounts-...lders.html

What troubles me is that Lightroom is also unable to get LRTimelapse Addon files, as it seems to me like they are put in User folder that Lightroom is not looking at.

So messy ;(

Anyway, I'll go with your suggestion and see will it help.

I try your suggestion and it works. LRTimelapse started properly.
However, now I think I have another issue. The one I predict in post above.

So the Lightroom preset folder and stuffs related with lightroom uses following path:
C:\Users\xxxxx xxčxxxx\AppData\Roaming\Adobe...
But LRTimelase can not set this path. It sets another one:
C:\Users\xxxxx xxcxxxx\AppData\Roaming\Adobe...
I guess I should be able to see some Script tab in Lightroom and some filter options from LRTimelapse, but I don't see them.

Ok, I moved everything related with LRT plugins for Lightroom inside the other User folder where I figured out Lightroom should expect plugins. It seems like it recognize LRT script and filters. I hope this will be good enough.
