Every time I launch Lightroom, a LRTExport.log file is generated in my documents folder. If LRT is disabled, I do not get the log file. 

I am on OS X Sierra 10.12.16, with Adobe CC 2015.12 version of LR, and LRT 4.7.8.140

The text of the log file is:

2017-10-17 21:57:40 +0000, DEBUG ---Launched LRTExport version 4.7.8 build 140

Please try deleting the folder LRTimelapse inside your Documents folder. This will reset the interface.
