Could not create virtual machine

Hi, the thing is XP 32bit will only use 3GB even if you have 4 installed...
I'm sure you will have a lot more fun with the new machine - even if I would prefer W7 over W8 - but that's your choice Wink - LRT will run on both!

Yep. Currently using 3.5Gb out of 4Gb with a little tweaking. Still was better than the previous setup with a faulty memory module that was only giving me 2.5Gb in total, including system processes.

I don't mind Win8.1 or 7, but usually dual boot with ubuntu anyway.

Seems to run a few smaller timelapses quite well now, new computer will be great I think to do them with LRTimelpase.

Thanks for the help and suggestions.

Hello,
I have been trough all the tips from 1st page of this thread but it does not work in the end.
Note that I use Java 8 and not Java 7 (I input the proper folder name in the cmd file) -> could it be a reason of fail ?
However if I have to come back to Java 7 I don't even know how to do it: java webpage just propose Java 8...
Best regards.

Normally Java 8 should be no problem, why are you using the cmd file?
Please just use the normal windows launcher.

If you want to try Java 7, you can download it from here.
