LRTimelapse pro timer for construction longlapse: battery and camera power off

Hello timelapser!

I'm very impressed with this forum and the stunning project of LRTimelapse Pro/Free.

I landed here today because I'm a Videomaker who makes a lot of long time lapses with IP cameras and basic controllers -> and i would like to know if its possible to make my next long lapses with more accurate controllers, like the lrtimelapse pro seems to be.

I've read the manuals and comments in forums and i didn't find the answer to my question: what happens when the cam shuts down? The lrt pro is able to turn off and on by itself?

I'm asking because I'm planning to make a long timelapse that probably will be at least 3 or 4 months. Ac or dc is not a problem. My doubt is about the capacity of the system to go to sleep, listening to the clock (that is not resetting every time!) wake up, remember the settings and wake up also the camera for shoot.

Thank you very much for your incredible job and patience answering questions like this Smile

Thanks for your interest. The LRT PRO Timer has a special "Wakeup" feature that will kick in for long intervals, where the cameras tend to go "sleeping" inbetween shots. In such cases, the LRT PRO Timer will wake up the camera before triggering the next shot.
This is also described in the manual: https://lrtimelapse.com/lrtpt/manual/

I have a lot of customers that use the LRT PRO Timer specifically for such long term and construction timelapses. It works perfectly for that.
Let me know if you have further questions!
