Hi. A quick questions to the Pros here. First time I spent some time on the timelapse topic. With my new camera I am now able to make interval pictures, what Nikon user can do since a couple of years obviously :-)

I now want to test it with the new camera. With "simple photos" I already have some experience, but not with creating this amazing videos shows out of a a bunch of interval pictures.

I installed LRTimelapse 4.7.5 free version for testing. I use Lightroom 2015.9 CC and have a Canon 5D Mark IV. Camera RAW 9.9 installed as well as Adobe DNG Converter.

I watched tons of Videos and tutorials but not getting to an result finally.

1) Adobe LR is not showing the LRTimelapse preset after installing it. Exporting therefore difficult.
2) All links in the tutorials to the presets or to the handling/how too seems to be made for earlier versions. Does not work at all.
3) Any general hints or tips for how to make a useful picture galery (e.g. if you want to show the sky/clouds moving, what intervall to use best, etc.).

I am quite lost. Just a beginner, willing to learn from scratch but getting frustrated from the start, which makes it difficult to follow all the tutorial without any success.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Tim,
you should check out my official tutorials here on the page. They reflect the latest developments.
No separate presets are needed, everything will be automatically installed with LRTimelapse.

  1. See faq: http://forum.lrtimelapse.com/Thread-lrt4...-installed
  2. not needed
  3. I'd definitely recommend my ebook as a starting point, it will save you a lot of trial an error especially when it comes to shooting techniques.
