I have a quick question about the supported gradient filter.

If I use the masking function, lets say the luminosity one. How does this masking work? Is basically copied the physical form of the mask to all the images or does it calculate a new mask for every image?

I would do some testing, but asking here might give me a quicker answer.

Since lightroom only saves the parameters for the range masks, they will be calculated for each image individually.
If you do a mask by painting, it will be constant, because the shape itself will be stored into XMP.
Just remember, that only a certain amount of painting-coordinates will be saved into XMP that means, you should keep painting strokes to a minimum when working with LRT/LR.

The gradient filter is basically the only tool in lightroom to simulate a luminosity mask and I am actually quite stoked that I can use it with lrtimelspse as well.

Just fyi: Luminosity masks can also be applied to circular gradients and brush painting.
