Milky Way shooting

Offline

Hi,

I sometimes find myself in the same location for a few days shooting the Milky Way and don't want to get up every night. Is the following programmable:

3 shots, start at 3:00 a.m., exposure time 15, 30, 45 seconds?
or even
start 3:00 a.m., 10 shots @ 15 sec, 10 shots @ 30 sec, 10 shots @ 45 sec?

Thanks

I would program the bracketing in the camera, like 16, 30, 60 secs.
This would then take like 2 minutes for the 3 exposures.
Now in the Pro timer use Timed TL to program a shot that starts at 30 pm. Set the exposure time to 100 secs (this will be sufficient to trigger the camera for the whole time of the bracketing shot.

If you want to do more than one bracketed shot, just set the number of images to the number of bracketed shots you want to shoot and the interval to a time longer than the time you calcluated about (the 2 minutes).

So basically, the exposure time needs to cover the trigger of the 3 images and therefore be shorter than the sum of all brackeded exposures and the interval should be longer than that time to give the camera a bit of time between the brackets.

I hope this makes sense to you.
