I have a v2 TPlink MR3040, new. I can connect it to my MacBookPro using the ethernet cable, and system management shows the connection as live (green), and the ethernet connection is at the top of the list. Yet, when I type in the IP address, whether using Safari or Firefox, both time out, neither connects to the TP Link...
I have used two IP addresses. 192.168.0.1 which brings up a message saying that it is the address of the computer. So I used "DCHP with manual address" and typed in 192.168.0.55, which yields a green connection for the ethernet, but when I type that IP into the browser, I do not reach the TPLink.
Does anyone have an ideas?
thanks,
Scott
PS the image shows wifi as active, but I also tried with wifi deactivated, and still cannot connect to the MR3040
