hey...when i first load in my images...i get a message that says "timestamps in your sequence are set to future dates" and "this might prevent lightroom from loading the metadata and cause issues with working with the Visual Previews. Would you like to fix the timestamps? (recommended)."
so i agree to fix it and another box pops up and says
"Shift the Timestamps of the whole sequence"
the box has the current stamp options that allow me to adjust the days or years etc. so i subtract two days from the timestamp and the warning goes away. i then check the box that says overwright the original and click ok.
is this what i should be doing? will this be ok?
also...i have no idea why my timestamps are in the future by two days...any idea how to fix that? the current camera i am using is a canon 5d mark II.
thanks,
j.j.
