Perseids - and clouds...

Unfortunately, the weather forecast for the northern part of Germany was much better than reality. Anyway, I stayed up until the clouds definitely covered the Perseids maximum of last night. But I could capture some, see for yourself.

I found a pretty dark location after a 30min drive from Hamburg, so light pollution was still markable. I headed the cam away from the city towards the swan constellation, so I could capture the milky way as well.

I have an old Leica lens (28mm, f/2.8) which makes focussing pretty easy, as it just stops at infinity. It fits to the 6D with a Novoflex adapter.

Ok, here is what I've got:

What about posting your results here as well? There must be some withouts clouds, I guess...

Stephan

Nice start though pity about the clouds.

Here's what I captured from Ibiza. I had a little cloud and thankfully it was a clear night.
Timelapse is made up of 450 images from 3am till sunrise
20 second exposure / f2.8 / ISO3200
