Play timelapse on 4k TV

Dear Gunther

I am experiencing problems playing rendered films on my LG 4k OLED TV. Basically all 4k-rendered timelapses are not played on the TV. It must be a codec problem. I tried to transcode with Wodershare, Leawo, Pavtube but no success. If i transcode from a full hd-rendered film it works.
Any idea?

Thanks alot in advance!

There are lots of different TVs around with different capabilities.
Normally the files that LRTimelapse generates should be considered as high quality master files, that are not necessarily meant for direct playback. Usually you would use them to create a film in a video editor (join different clips, add music etc) and export from the video editor in a much lower quality that could be easily played back by consumer devices.

This does not mean that it's not possible to play back the LRTimelapse master files, but it really depends on the player. You could try to find the exactly right resolution and aspect ratio and render in lower qualities - maybe it works then.
