PNG Export from After Effects

Offline
#1 Graphections
Hi there,

In an attempt to make my timelapses smoother I am experimenting with exporting a PNG sequence from a proRes video I have and them using LRT to filter it.
Is the reason LRT wont accept the PNGS because there is no Meta Data on the PNGs?

The folder of PNGS is grey and the files dont load.

Is there a way around this? Perhaps by saving "fake" meta data to them somehow?

PNG is not supported by LRTimelapse. It's not a format usually used for Photos and it causes problems with metadata, that's why it's not supported.
I'd recommend to use the video workflow in LRTimelapse, there you can import a video sequence, basically this will create a jpg sequence from it, then you can use LRTimelapse for editing.
Another option woudld be to manually split the video to tiff, convert those to DNG with Lightroom and use those in LRTimelapse.

Thanks, in either case though you lose the Meta Data it seems.

jpg and dng workflow works fine. DNG is better, since you can use the visual workflow.
