Pro-Timer tripod mount

Offline
#1 Sheeba
Hello Gunther, hello people,

For a long time I was looking for an optimal solution for attaching my pro-timer to the tripod.
The solution to fix the Pro-Timer on the flash shoe of the camera was not optimal for me, as an operation and reading was only possible if the camera is mounted at a fairly low altitude. On the other hand, I was skeptical about the condition (light on / off, or ramp setting) of the pro timer while mounted on the flash shoe. Very quickly, a shift of the camera is possible.
When I got hold of my GoPro some time ago, I came up with the following idea:

Attach a GoPro bicycle mount to the center column of the tripod and then attach the Pro-Timer to it.
I have implemented this and I am completely satisfied. The mechanical effort is limited to removing a nut on the mounting adapter.
The solution shown here is based on my pro-timer in alternative housing, but can certainly be set up with any other solution or the original housing.
The cost is 10-12 €.
All details can be found in the attached PDF.

I look forward to your feedback.

Greeting,
Hans
