White Balace problem

Offline

Hello,
I have a problem with white balance. I'm going through the Holy Grail process, and after loading the photos into Lightroom (LR), they all look correct. Then, I set the Keyframes, configure the Holy Grail workflow, and move to Lightroom. There, I edit the frames and set the white balance to 3000/-61, save the Metadata, and return to LRT. In LRT, I select Auto Transition, and all the files adopt a white balance of 5850, which gives a red tint to the images. I checked the XML files, and Lightroom exports the correct white balance, but LRT overwrites it with 5850. I should mention that I have never used the settings in LRT (the sliders on the right side) and never had issues with white balance before.

I read another thread regarding white balance, and when I have the "As Shot" setting, the image looks correct. When I press "Custom," it immediately sets the WB to 5850. It does the same when I press "Auto Transition." It automatically applies the 5850 value.

I've been using LRT for a long time and never had this issue—it appeared starting from version 7.1. Is there any way to work around this? Or perhaps disable the image editor in LRT altogether?

If necessary, I can record a video showing this issue.

Best wishes
Pawel

PS
I would like to add that I have different white balance settings on various keyframes, so manually adjusting the white balance for each keyframe in LRT is not a viable solution.

Usually there are no known problems regarding this. I can only assume that something went wrong on initializing, maybe you removed images from LR or LRT without synchronizing, or something else went wrong.
Obviously LRTimelapse is trying to correct something which makes it initialize the WB with the default values.

I'd recommend to start over cleanly with that sequences. Remove it from Lightroom and in LRT do "Metadata / Initialize". Now do the workflow, when you edit your Keyframes in Lightroom, make sure that all keyframes are set to Whitebalance "Custom", none to "As Shot".
Make sure to save Metadata for all images from Grid View (G), then check the keyframes in the LRT editor. They should all have WB "Custom" with the correct values.
Now apply the auto transition, which again, should make all frames now have "Custom" as WB-Type and the transitioned values for tint and tone.

Thank you Gunther! Sorry for the late response but after reset (in LR and Metdata in LRT) everything is fine!
