Dear Canon Users,

Does anybody know whether Canon EOS R6 is not any more compatible with qDSLR dashboard?

This is what happened:
- I've updated the firmware of my Canon EOS R6 to version 1.5.2.
- qDSLR Dashboard (on Android, Galaxy S9+) starts connecting via Wifi with the camera.
- The camera answers "connected" and qDSLR dashboard immediately closes and the Wifi as well.

Yesterday I made a timelapse with the same setting but a previous firmware version 1.3.?. (I don't remember the last digit). The setting was working perfectly.

Do you know a workaround? Thank's to all who can help.

Give the release notes for the new firmware any hint, what has changed? This might also help Zoltan to provide a fix.
So you should also report this problem to Zoltan.

Dear Canon Users,
Issue is resolved. Zoltan contacted me within 5 minutes: Disable 'Use Canon local storage'

This was the solution. Now the firmware works perfect.

Hi Markus,
can you describe your settings in more details. I want to use my R & R5 with qDSLRDashboard, but can't connect my Android phone with the cameras. qDSLRDashboard is installed.

Do I need the Canon app also?
