qDslrDashboard Crash

Offline
#1 stefgodin
Hi everybody

I use to work with
qDslrDashboard (last version) on a Samsung Galaxy Lite 3
-Canon 1DX with tp link TL MR3040
-external intervalometer or qDslrDashboard Intervalometer

I usually got some crashes..
After nearly 100 frames qDslrDashboard stop or not ramping anymore.

Shoots are waiting in the camera buffer but are not registered in the memory card...

I don't know if it is a tp link Wifi problem. I can't connect the camera on the tablet with a USB cable because qDslrDashboard crash immediately...
I don't know if it is a problem with the tablet...

These crashes are not systematic but appear frequently !
And I can't fix the problem. If you have some idea...

I'd suggest to not use the qDDB internal intervalometer.
Use an external one. Make sure that it only briefly triggers the camera to allow the camera enough time to clear the buffer, see: http://forum.lrtimelapse.com/Thread-inte...-around-it
Make sure that the difference between longest exposure and interval is at least 3 secs.
Update qDDB to the latest version.
Make sure Live View is off when shooting.

If the troubles persist, please contact the developer on http://dslrdashboard.info

yes I already use an external hack intervalometer, latest version of software etc !
I'll try with a longer delay between exposure and interval.

But I can not explain with qDSLR crash immediately in USB connection...
