I always find it's better to explain the things well and completely so that people save time later on.
One edit done wrong can easily make half an hour of work or even more worthless.
Personally I feel it's better to invest that half hour in learning how to do it right once to avoid mistakes later and save huge amounts of time.
In my opinion there's no point in providing a 2 minutes video and letting people spent hours trying to figure out things on their own.
I think I'm offering all kind of information on different levels:

Timelapse Photography is a complex topic which is not explained in 2 minutes.
