Ramper Pro - issue with going darker

Offline

Hi guys,

Not sure what is going wrong here... With my ramper pro, I am setting it up as follows:

1. 1 hour TL during the day (clouds)
2. 14mm lens with 10 stop filter, set at F-Stop 9
3. 2.5 sec shutter, 3 second interval total (ie, 2.5 exposed, 0.5 closed)
4. Canon 1D Mark IV, set on WB Cloud, Manual mode

On the RP, i'm using Complex mode, and going with:

1. Start exposure 2.5" ISO 400
2. End exposure 2.5" ISO 500
3. Histogram settings: Right Clipping 1, RIght Cut off 4.

The Ramper Pro immediately pushes the Shutter outside the settings i defined, taking it to 2 seconds. Now, the image at this point of the TL looks okay, but a bit dark (as would be expected by dropping from 2.5 to 2.0 secs). As the TL goes on, the clouds get much darker, and the ramper pro just leaves the settings it started with, no going up in ISO to the 500, or back to the 2.5 seconds...

Any ideas ?? I thought this device would continue to analyse the JPG image and expose it correctly, but it just seems to ignore the darkening of the images..
