Render aborts, does not export complete sequence

If the LRTimelapse Video Encoder only outputs a part of your sequence, most likely there is something wrong with the crop aspect ratio of one or more keyframes. If the intermediary sequence contains images with different aspect ratios, you might get trouble with the encoder. One wrong or missing crop on a keyframe can already lead to this problem - for example, if the first keyframes has been cropped to 16:9 and the last not.

You'll get errors like this in the log file (info menu/show log)
Code:
[2014-05-27 12:22:21] DEBUG: Input stream #0:0 frame changed from size:4096x2318 fmt:yuvj444p to size:4096x2319 fmt:yuvj444p

[2014-05-27 12:22:24] DEBUG: Input stream #0:0 frame changed from size:4096x2319 fmt:yuvj444p to size:4096x2318 fmt:yuvj444p

To fix it:

In LRT check, if the crop columns are visible after loading that sequence, and if so, right click on the table header for one of those and "initialize". This will clear the crop. Then save, read Metadata in Lightroom and export again from Lightroom. This should help.

I have a sequence of 381 images, resolution is Canon S-Raw, 1944 x 1296. I have 4* keyframes at start and end only. I animated the crop with those 2 keyframes only. When viewing the rendered video, it appears a segment in the middle, about 75 images, was left out. I tried re-rendering, got exact same result. I tried your suggestion to initialize the crop columns and re-render again. I initialized those columns with the "preserve keyframes" option and reloaded and transitioned, etc. I got the same result. Finally I removed the crop all together and copied that to whole sequence then rendered it again with same settings: h264-420_1080p_29.97_HQ+
Then I got the whole sequence rendered without anything missing, but the video will only play successfully in windows player maybe one time, then it starts to smear like a water color in the rain, the same thing happens if I try to view a clip rendered in 3k or 4k (tried that with Lrt 3 before. In these cases in the past I would end up seeing the same sort of smeared video in Premiere Elements as well.). I'm using a pc with win 7, 64 bit, 8gb ram. Any suggestions? The only way I have gotten around this whole issue is to crop in lightroom to 1920x1080 without animating, and this leaves no room to pan & zoom in post. What am I doing wrong?

The problem with the missing frames ist certainly due to too strong or wrong animation of the crop. The encoder fails, if the aspect ratio of the cropped images changes. Make sure to not animate the rotation and that all keyframes have the same aspect ratio.
The other problem is a problem of the player. It might fail with some resolutions. So to solve your issues:

- keep the crop animation slow and weak, make sure to not change the aspect ratio
- export from Lightroom with JPG (Ori)
- Render in LRTimelapse with Full HD, you might activate "crop to 16:9" to avoid player problems
- User Media Player Classic (MPC) for playback, it the fastest and most reliable player, I know. You can get it here: https://mpc-hc.org/

Hi Christian, Do you get those "frame changed from size to..." messages in your logfile after trying to render? Then you have an issue with the crop aspect ratios. Try the fix in the first post above. If it's something else, please send me the log file (info menu/show log)

Hi I am having the same issue as this and I have tried to "Initialise Column" and "Fill Column Downwards" but I am still getting the same issue when I render.

My Logfile is below

What is the fix for this. I am happy to reimport all images but will this fix the problem?

Have tried importing the images from the card again and am still having the same issue. I have also tried to render another sequence from a different project and it is working fine so it is just this sequence.

Are you probably having RAW and JPG files separately in that timelapse folder and are trying to export both? If you shot RAW+JPG make sure to remove the JPGs before exporting!

There are no RAW images in the folder. I am now having this issue with other sequences. I am still getting the frame changed error. This has only just started happening. My sequences are only half the length they should be.
