Selected Metadata

Hello,

So the first step in the workflow is to initialize the metadata. I'm wondering if there's some way we can specify which metadata to initialize? For example, my images have GPS data, and when I initialize, this data gets erased.

Should I skip the initialize step (how important is it?) or is there a way to specify which data to leave alone?

Thanks!

Just wondering if anyone has a solution for this. Loosing the GPS information creates a lot of extra work as I then have to re-sync the data. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong?

Hi, sorry to coming back to you so late.
Unfortunaltey currently we have the situation that LRTimelapse doesn't preserve the GPS Data when initializing. I'll see what I can to to circumvent this in Version 2.0.

And yes, initializing is crucial for the process.

Currently you could only save a snapshot in LRTimelapse (this saves all XMP Settings of your sequence) - then make your edits, export your video, than save a second snapshot, and revert to the first snapshot to get your GPS data back.

I'll see what I can do.

Another update: I confirm LRTimelapse 2.0 will preserve GPS and other Exifdata.
