SF/Marin County Fire Lookout Mini-Doc

I finished up the little documentary trying to convey what it feels like to be a fire lookout here on top of Mt. Tamalpais. It's a combination of live action and timelapse, and in that sense it's a bit of a departure from a typical TL piece. I tried to use the timelapse as a counterpoint to the live action to make it even more powerful. It took a lot of work and some storyboarding, but I think it's effective.

Your video made my day, Mr. Yost. Thank you for a beautiful view from Mt. Tamalpais. (14% humidity!!? I'm stewing in 62% humidity here in Baltimore and wish it were a bit drier.)

Thanks, and hey, we could use some of that humidity around here... the dry weather is creating a huge box of kindling up there. (Most of the mountain is above the fog, and the moisture content of the "fuel" is getting close to zero at this point.)

Gary, I'm very impressed! Thank you very much for making this film. It stands out from the majority of time lapse films because it tells a story. Also the time lapse sequences you shoot from there are really cool an well edited. I'd love to go to that place some time. Keep up the good work!

Thank you very much for the credits as well! I shared your film on the LRTimelapse facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/lrtimelapse/pos...4045623676
