Problems updating firmware

Just received my LRT Pro Timer 2.5 with firmware release 2.5 r7 and wanted to update to the newest one (r10).
According to the manual
* I switched on the device
* connected it to an USB port on my computer
* douple-clicked the hidden Reset button
As described in manual the diplay froze. But no new drive appeared on my computer. So I'm not able to update firmware.

Are there any known problems with Windows 10 (v1809 Build 17763.3.379)?
Is there any workaround for flashing new firmware?

Any help is welcome.

Please try another usb cable, try also another usb port. There are no problems known with windows 10, normally it should work easily. If not, maybe you can try on another computer, laptop etc. You should also wait a moment for windows to recognize the new drive, install drivers etc.

Sorry, it seems that my USB cable was not compatible or damaged. Everything is fine when using another USB cable. Update to newest firmware done without any problems.

Did it a few minutes ago from r8 to r10 on a Dell Notebook via USB-Hub with without any problem.but with an older build (1803).
