Simple Q: How to sort large number of files by -time-, not date, created?

I am shooting a multi-month timelapse of a building construction. I have about 45,000 images (shooting 1 frame/3 mins). I want to remove nighttime images to produce a seamless daylight-only sequence. On a Win8/PC platform, how can I sort this large number of images by -create time-...not create -date-...so that i can easily and quickly remove all images that were shot during nightime hours? Seems like this should be a really simple task, but I cannot find a way to accomplish. Huge thanks for any solution!

Hi Walden,
in LRTimelapse it's not possible currently, but you could use the sophisticated filters in the long term workflow to remove dark, bright, etc. images. Check out my instructions on the tab "long term" - http://lrtimelapse.com/workflow
