So in doing time lapses of Satellites at 1 second exposures at ISO 6400, will the Z8 produce continuous statellite trails or will they show gaps between exposures and thus dash lines in the sky?

Every camera will produce certain gaps between frames. There is no way, I'm aware of, to shoot with zero dark time in Raw photo mode.

I have seen Sony A7SIII S&Q mode videos that don't have a visible gap at 1 second exposures, but of course those are video files created in camera and not separate raw files.

I would assume the gap will be much shorter with the Z8 than a slow reading Sony sensor, correct?
