Sony Setup with qDSLR

Hi all,

A question for those of you that use a Sony A7 series camera.

The micro USB port is required for:
  • an external intervalometer (or connection to a slider)
  • external power
  • tethering to a tablet
How do you externally trigger or power the camera whilst also tethering to a tablet or laptop.

I'm interested in hearing any experiences as we recently used an A7s for an overnight static shot and it was amazing when we graded it out of SLOG.

Cheers

I think you should use the port for triggering, and connect qddb via WiFi (update the camera WiFi app to the latest). External power could happen through a camera dummy, like the tether tools case relay.
