Luminosity changes as sun goes behind clouds then reappears

Sorry, I couldn't find this answer anywhere in the forum, though I know it's been covered.

On partly cloudy days during sunrise, the sun goes in and out, changing the luminosity of the photos. Many times, there is not enough of a change in brightness to adjust the shutter speed, but it has a big effect on the final video.

My final video doesn't flicker, but the luminosity cycles through brighter and darker throughout the video. This effect matches up with the "Visual Lum" numbers in the table and the red line on the preview.

Is there a way to level out the luminosity?

This time-lapse was 500 photos taken every four seconds, and it was a sunrise Holy Grail time-lapse. There were eight keyframes, as suggested by LRTimelapse.

I've been using LRTimelapse since version 4 and I've always loved it! Thanks!

Sounds like a natural effect, why fight it?
If you feel you need to do so, you could try to do deflicker with a large smoothing value to even out the changing luminosity a bit...

Well, I started over with this time-lapse. I ran the photos through again, and that strobing effect is gone. I'm not sure what happened the first time. I may have missed a step or chosen a bad reference area. Now the time-lapse looks great.

Thanks for the help, though! Again, I love the software. It does an amazing job!
