LRT6 RC1
My whole system is freezing up and is not responsive for random periods of time before it starts working again. I noticed it in LRT when watching the playback after visual previews populate. Sometimes it will freeze before I can play them back, lasting anywhere from 5 to 30 seconds, and sometimes it will freeze while in the middle of playback. It is also affecting other apps. This did not start happening until RC1 and I haven't updated anything else. I have restarted several times with no change.

LRT is running anywhere from 18 to 30GB of memory in Activity Monitor. At the time I am posting this, it shows 504 threads. I don't know if that helps (it locked up in the middle of this sentence when I was typing "helps" and a few seconds later the word appeared).

The log doesn't show anything unusual. Could you maybe lower the number of parallel processes a bit. in the settings / expert settings. In your case, maybe try 16 / 8.
See if the problem occurs again and if you can reproduce it and let me know how exactly.
