I upgraded to Sierra 10.13.5 and LRtimelapse 4 (4.8.3) does not work, do you have any suggestions?

"Does not work" is not something that helps me to help you. What exactly is happening?

I've done some tests today and LRTimelapse 5 works like a charm on the latest 10.13.5. LRTimelapse 4 should also work, but since it's not officially supported anymore, I did not test it.

I guess there must be something else wrong with your setup. Please give me more details, then we'll certainly find a solution.
