The Island of Maui

I've been using LRTl since last August. This is my first edited movie using LRTl to process clips. LRTl worked well on the Haleakala, West Maui mountain and sunset clips. Haleakala and W. Maui mountain clips required further processing in After Effects using the Stabilize Motion function. The trade winds were quite strong during the shoots so it was impossible to keep the camera setup rock solid still.

The Honolua Bay shot looked beautiful as a sequence of stills, but when it was exported from Lightroom using 1080p @ 30fps LRTl (Full HD) the compression artifacts were brutal. I assume the wave action was to much to handle. I ended up using After Effects to assemble the timelapse from jpegs exported after they had been altered using LRTl. After Effects required a lossless quicktime export.
