Hello Gunther. Do you already know when the final version will be released?

When the beta testers are happy!
Currently Beta 5 seems to be quite stable. If nothing changes that might be the release version.

Hello Gunter,
LRT 6 fails to open at loading user interface. Reboot/restart does not help. I do not have the M1 yet, is LRT6 ONLY for M!? Are there special settings in preferences that need to be set for LRT to even Open? Please advise, maybe I missed something. I have a 4,000 raw HG to process...

First of all: LRTimelapse 6 is beta. Don't use it for productive work. If you are on a schedule, uninstall it and install LRT 5.8 which is proven to be stable.

LRTimelapse 6 for Mac is available in two versions: one for the Intel Macs and one for the new Silicon (ARM) Macs (M1). You need to download and install the appropriate one for your machine.

In general: if LRTimelapse is not launching on mac, open up a terminal and copy paste the following:
Code:
/Applications/LRTimelapse\ 6.app/Contents/MacOS/LRTimelapse
Hit enter and post the output here.

Another general thing: please open a new thread here in the forum for new questions. Here for example the topic is totaly different (when will the final version be released). Thank you! In this case we can finish this here and I will then split the thread later.

Hi Gunther,
Great update LRT6, good work that I appreciate and value.
I am a retired man and that is why I have some programs in old versions. I have read that for the installation of LRT 6RC, you have to make sure you have LR Classic installed. Is this mandatory?

In my case I have installed LR 5.7 for some years.
I would like to know how important it is.

I would also like to know if you are already "cooking" the new 2022 manual with the definitive LRT 6.
Thank you very much again.

You can use an older Lightroom. Just make sure to set the "masks version" to 1.0 in the LRT settings.
The online manual is already updated: https://lrtimelapse.com/workflow

Thank you very much Gunther:
Solved the MASK 1 version issue, everything works perfectly.
And of course! I know the online manual, in addition to being subscribed to your YouTube channel. But I was referring to the E-Book.
Kind regards!

I only can do one thing at a time... But sure, I've planned to work on that too.
